Healthy Produce Allowance

Members who qualify through medical claims will receive a $20 monthly healthy food and produce allowance on their flexible debit card. Qualifying conditions include diabetes, chronic lung disease, cardiovascular disease and congestive heart failure. Once we receive your qualifying medical claims from your provider, a letter will be sent to you with instructions on how to opt-in to this benefit.

This allowance allows members to purchase healthy food groups that include:

• Dairy
• Fruits
• Vegetables
• Meats
• and whole grains.

The healthy food and produce allowance can be used at participating retailers across the nation! Swipe your flexible debit card at checkout and the $20 will go toward all the qualifying healthy foods in your purchase.
